Details für „Répertoires vol.1 for strings and winds“
score Sourisse, Dominique, coautor
The next volume to be published shortly.
This new kind of collection came into being from the encounter of two
expectations: on one hand, Musical training teachers working on repertoire
works do not always have the time to carry out the transcriptions themselves
of the works they would like their students to play, on the other hand,
orchestra teachers deplore the rarity of intermediate arrangements in
catalogues.
The 12 pieces we propose in each volume are adaptations, allowing children to
approach masterpieces at an age when the complete versions are still
inaccessible to them.
The principle behind these arrangements is that of a transcription for two
instrumental groups: one of strings, the other of winds, each group also
being designed to be playable on the piano if necessary. A fifth, central
stave is available for the student who wishes to recopy his part there,
depending on the dividing-up decided upon in class, it is up to him to
transpose, octaviate or change clefs…
In a musical training class, utilisation will first join a classical score:
reading, writing, singing, dictation, analysing But above all, these
arrangements can be played immediately by the students and will provide an
excellent work base for orchestra teachers seeking known pieces of certain
value for their ensembles.
